Find it first.
Jefferson County is heavy coastal clay over a high water table. The ground swells when it takes on water and shrinks when it dries, and it works the slab up and down around whatever pipe is running through it. That is why slab leaks here are a recurring structural fact rather than a rare emergency, and it is why guessing is the expensive option.
Locate electronically
Electronic line locating puts the failure on the map before anything gets opened. No exploratory holes in your floor while somebody works out where the water is coming from.
Look down the line
High-definition video inspection shows the actual condition of the pipe, not an inference from a pressure drop. Roots, scale, a crushed section, a joint that has pulled: you see which one it is.
Tunnel, do not jackhammer
Where it can be reached from outside, we tunnel under the slab and leave the floor you are standing on alone. Then we backfill properly, which is the step people find out about later when it was skipped.

Showed up earlier than expected. Fixed leak in front yard. Fast friendly service. They even back filled the hole they had to dig. Looked great. Pretty good price for the amount of work they had to do.
Called late one afternoon. They came first thing the next morning. Gave a bid that was reasonable so decided to go with them. Matt started the work right then and there. Finished late that evening. I asked questions and he answered them with explanations.
I appreciated the direct pricing and in no way felt taken advantage of. They had a booklet with pricing and let me know upfront what it would be with no worries that they just pulled a price out of the air. They had me up in running in no time!

Yes. The office runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and we take emergency calls outside those hours. Call (409) 226-2451. If a line is leaking, do not wait for Monday. The EPA puts the average household's leak losses at roughly 180 gallons a week, and a leak under a slab is doing more than wasting water.
